NTIC has the very best course for any student. With the blend of very motivational tutors such as Peter Matthews, the course helps to really bring out the ideas in a student's deepest subconscious and inspire them to push further into their creative capabilities.
As an individual, I enjoyed how much the course opened my mind and exposed me to new and interesting things. The tutors were always available to listen to my new ideas and help me develop them from a professional point of view. When I initially began the course, I had no idea what it was like to work as a professional self motivated designer for firms or corporate enterprises but all the interaction with the tutors and other experts taught me how to make my work look more presentable and how to relay ideas in a convincing manner through presentations.
I was approached with the flier for the 2009 Young Creative Awards by Peter Matthews. He strongly advised me and my good friend, Timi Odeyemi to enter into the competition with our project work as he saw great potential in our ideas. We really did not expect to win as we were competing against 2nd and 3rd year students with our Foundation level work. Fortunately, both of us came out top with myself receiving the first prize in the 14-18 category and Timi receiving the 2nd prize in the 19-22 category. This simply shows how far a bit of motivation and inspiration from dedicated tutors can take a student. I am very pleased that we won and I thank all those who helped me through my personal development, especially Peter. This is just the beginning of an active and exciting career.
