Programme Structure
Foundation Certificate programmes have four elements:

Academic skills modules
You will develop key academic skills including research, writing, presentation and analysis.

Subject modules
You will look at the basics of your chosen area of study so that you have the knowledge you need before progressing to more specialised study.

Pathway modules
You will focus on the particular topics and skills you will need most in your chosen undergraduate degree course.

Student Tutorials
All students have a Learning Support Tutor who will work with you throughout your academic programme at the college, and support you in achieving your study goals. Through regular meetings, your tutor can offer valuable advice to help you develop your study skills and knowledge, ensuring you receive the best possible education.
All modules are taught with your progression to Nottingham Trent University in mind. They are tailored to meet the needs of international students.
English language tuition is also available for students that do not meet required English levels.
Guaranteed Progression
If you successfully complete the Foundation Certificate at the required level, your progression to a related Nottingham Trent University undergraduate degree is guaranteed.
Progression is either into Year 1 at Nottingham Trent University or Year 2 at the University (after successfully completing the Nottingham Trent International College Diploma).
